After an uneventful first half, with PAOK creating more chances and Onana having to make crucial saves, the game turned in United’s favor shortly after halftime. Just five minutes into the second half, Amad scored the opener with a well-placed header from a Bruno cross.
PAOK attempted to respond but squandered a glorious chance when Tissoudali failed to convert from close range. Amad sealed the victory in the 77th minute with a curling shot that deflected into the net after he dispossessed a defender. United’s streak of three consecutive draws is over and this win could bring new life into the Europa League campaign, although it is still a very tough in my opinion…Numquam Moribimur.
