The Religion: 60 Years Of Loyal Support – Film Premiere

Manchester United Supporters’ Club Malta in collaboration with film maker John Gubba are proud to announce the premiering of a documentary film – The Religion – 60 Years’ of Loyal Support.  This is the story of how Malta has been transformed following the second world War interlinked with how the oldest standing Manchester United Supporters Club in the world has flourished after it was founded in 1959, one year after the Munich disaster.  The premiering of such film will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November. 

On Saturday 16th the premiering will take place at St. James Cavalier . There will be 2 screenings, first one at 19:00 and second one at 21:30. The screening at 19:00 is reserved for the contributors to this film. A drinks reception will be held between 20:30 and 21:15. Ex United players Quinton Fortune and Michael Clegg will be present on the night.

Tickets for the screening at 21:30 can be purchased from the Manchester United Supporters’ Club on Fridays between 18:30 and 20:30, Sundays between 10:00 and 12:00 and on Match Days. Tickets are priced at €10.00 and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

On Sunday 17th the premiering will take place at the Grand Hotel Gozo at 17:00 and at 19:30. Complimentary hors-d’œuvre and a cash bar will be available between 18:30 and 19:15. Tickets are priced at €5.00 and are available on a first come, first serve basis and are available from the United Club in Victoria Gozo or phone Joe Galea on 79458652. 

The dress code for the events above is smart casual.
